A delicious meatball stuffed with cheese, that melts to perfection inside. Then the meatball is wrapped in pastry dough and cooked up to a perfect golden flaky crust. A perfect appetizer or main meal.
Ingredients
Beyond Meat Meatball package (10oz package with 12 meatballs)
2 Daiya Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
1 sheets of Puff Pastry
2 tbsp melted butter
Marinara Sauce for serving
Directions
Cut your cheese sticks in 3's, you should now have 6 small pieces of cheese
Take two of your beyond meat balls and combine
In the center place 1 piece of cheese
Wrap the meatball around tightly and form into a round meatball
Repeat with remaining cheese and meatballs
Heat a non stick skillet over medium high
Add in your meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, roughly 5 minutes (they will cook more later)
Remove and let cool
Preheat oven to 400
Roll out your pastry dough
Cut 6 3-4inch squares (there will be remaining dough)
Place a meatballs into the center of one square
Roll up tightly and pinch edges to seal
Place seal side down onto baking sheet
Repeat with remaining meatballs
Brush the top of your meatballs with melted butter
Place in oven and cook for 20-25 minutes*
Remove once golden and pastry cooked through
Let cool slightly
Serve with marina sauce for dipping
*You can also cook in the air fryer. At 320-340 for roughly 15-20 minutes
