An easy strawberry galette using Puff Pastry! The most delicious, beautiful and fresh dessert or even breakfast/brunch! Perfect with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream is my favorite! Ingredients 2 Cups Fresh Sliced Strawberries 1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar 1 Tbsps Flour 1-2 Tbsps Melted Butter Few Pinches of White Sugar Puff Pastry cut into large circle
Mint, optional for garnish
Ice Cream or Whipped Cream for serving
Directions Preheat oven to 400
In a medium bowl add your strawberries
Add in your brown sugar and flour
Mix well
Set bowl aside
Place your round puff pastry onto prepared baking sheet
Add your strawberry mix, giving it a few stirs before placing onto puff pastry
Spread out evenly leaving an in or two along the sides open
Carefully lift and fold over the edges over the berries
Brush edges with melted butter
Sprinkle with sugar
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes
Or until pastry if golden brown and puffed up
Remove and let cool 10 minutes
I garnished mine with fresh mint
Serve and enjoy
