This is the perfect, hearty, weeknight meal that the whole family will love. Reminds me just of the Hamburger Helper I so enjoyed when I was a kid.
Ingredients
14-16oz of noodles of choice, cooked
16oz of Beyond Meat Beyond Beef
½ onion, diced
2 cups of Follow Your Heart Cheddar Shreds
1 14.5 can of diced tomatoes
2 cups plant based milk ( I used almond)
1 beefless cubes/seasoning
Salt and Pepper
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
2 tbsps butter
1/2 cup green onions, diced
Oil for frying
Directions
In a large frying pan add oil and heat over medium high
Add in your onion and cook until translucent
Add in your beyond meat
Cook for 10 minutes, using a spatula to crumble while cooking
(You may need to add more oil to keep from sticking)
Remove when browned and crumbled, set aside
Return pan to heat
Add your butter, scraping bottom to remove residue
When melted, add in your milk and beefless cubes
Stir to melt beefless cube
Add in your canned tomatoes and noodles
Mix well
Add in your cheese and mix until melted
Add in 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
Stir to combine
Add in your ketchup and mix well
Season with salt and pepper
Top with green onions
Serve and enjoy
