A delicious take on Apple pie using premade apple pie mix and store bought biscuits. A simple, but delectable dish that’s perfect for breakfast or dessert!
Ingredients
1 can of biscuits (8 count)
1/2 cup of melted butter
1/3-1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 21oz can of apple pie filling
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsps vanilla creamer
Directions
Preheat oven to 375
Add pie filling to a bowl and roughly chop apples into bite sized pieces
Place your melted butter into a small bowl
Place your brown sugar into a second small bowl
Remove biscuits from can
Dip each biscuit into melted butter
Then coat into brown sugar pressing in the sugar so all sides of biscuit are coated
Place into a butter pan or skillet
Repeat with all biscuits
Place your apple pie mix evenly on top of biscuits
Drizzle with remaining butter and sprinkle with remaining brown sugar
Bake for 35-45 minutes, baking time depends on the size of your biscuits and make sure not to use a big enough pan so biscuits aren’t over crowded
While biscuits are baking make your glaze
Add your powdered sugar and cream to a bowl
Whisk until desired glazed consistency adding more cream if too thick
Remove pan from oven
Let cool 10 minutes
Drizzle with glaze
