Lately I have been obsessed with Granola. There are a few good ones on the market but I figured I might as well try and make it myself. So glad I did! Super easy to make and the perfect balance of sweetness.
Ingredients
1/2 cup cookie butter
1/4 cup melted butter
2-3 tbsps maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups old fashion oats
Pinch of salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2-3/4 cup chopped nuts of choice, we used walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 325
In a large bowl add the first 5 ingredients
Whisk until creamy
Add in your oats, cinnamon, salt and nuts
Mix well until fully coated
Place and spread out evenly onto a parchment lined baking sheet
Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes stirring halfway through
Remove from oven and let cool in pan
When cool break apart to sizes of choice
Serve and enjoy
Store leftovers in an air tight container
