Cheeseburger Pop Tart




Today we are making a savory pop tart. Combining two of our favorites, cheeseburgers and pop tarts. And we made them in the air fryer.

(This will make 6 pop tarts)


Ingredients

2 pasty puff pastry sheets

6 prepared burger patties, we used Beyond Meat Burgers

Hamburger dill chips

Ketchup

Mustard

Sesame Seeds

1/4 cup melted vegan butter

1 small onion, diced

10-12 slices of Vegan friendly yellow cheese, we used Daiya American Cheese Slices





Directions

Roll out your thawed pastry sheets

Roll them out with a roller to make them a little thinner and larger

Cut each pastry sheet into 6 rectangle pop tart pieces, so you will have 12 small rectangles

Place one rectangle down onto working space

Cut cheese slices to fit into rectangle

Place one slice onto first rectangle

Top with prepared burger patty

Sprinkle on a little onion

Add a little ketchup and mustard

Top with a couple pickle slices

Add a second rectangle on top

Carefully seal the edges using a fork to pinch

Place onto air fryer pan

Repeat with remaining pop tarts

Brush each pop tart with melted butter

Sprinkle with sesame seeds

Heat air fryer to 350

Air fry for roughly 8-10 minutes until golden

Remove from air fryer

Top each pop tart with another slice of cheese, cut to fit pop tart

Place back into air fryer to cook until melted, roughly 2 minutes

Remove and let cool 5 minutes

Serve and enjoy!
