Butternut squash, sausage and maple pizza

The perfect Fall time pizza! With roasted butternut squash, sausage, maple syrup and sage!

 

Ingredient

1 butternut squash, peeled, seeds remove and cut into cubes

12-14 oz of vegan sausage 

8oz soft vegan mozzarella, we used miyokos

1-2 cups of shredded vegan mozzarella 

Freshly chopped sage

Maple syrup

Pizza dough

Olive oil

Salt


Directions

Preheat oven to 400

Toss your chopped squash with a little olive oil and salt

Mix well

Place onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes turning halfway through

Cook until roasted

Remove from oven and let cool

Heat a little oil in a large pan over medium heat

Add in your sausage

Crumble and cook until golden

Remove from heat to cool

Prepare pizza dough

Gently spread your soft mozzarella evenly on top

Sprinkle with cheese shreds

Add your squash and sausage on top

Add fresh sage

Drizzle with maple syrup

Bake according to dough directions

Remove from oven when cheese has melted and dough is cool

Serve and enjoy

I like to drizzle with a little balsamic glaze!
