A little slice of heaven. Bet you can't eat just one slice!
On top of delicious pizza dough is a homemade white sauce, Beyond Meat Sausage, Sauteed Kale, Homemade Ricotta and Follow Your Heat Parmesan!
Ingredients:
Pizza Dough, my favorite is from Whole Foods
Beyond Meat Sausage Spicy or Italian
MsVegan Ricotta, recipe below
1 Bunch of kale, stems removed and roughly chopped
Olive Oil
2 tbl of butter
1 tbl of flour
2 tbl of nutritional yeast
1/3-1/2 cup of milk
Salt and pepper
Follow Your Heart Parmesan
Directions:
Preheat oven to dough directions
Heat a non stick skillet over medium high heat
Add in your kale and drizzle with a little olive oil
Cook for 2 minutes, remove and massage with salt
Wipe pan clean and return to heat
Remove casing from sausage and pinch off pieces to form sausage chunks
Cook in pan roughly 2-3 minutes,
Remove and reserve oil, if little oil remains add vegetable oil or butter to the pan to mix
Heat a small sauce pan over medium heat
Add in your butter
once melted add in your flour and nutritional yeast
Mix well
Slowly add in your milk to form a thick sauce
Turnoff heat and season with salt and pepper
Let cool slightly
Spread dough out onto a prepared pizza pan
Add your white sauce like you would marinara, you can get close to the edges
Sprinkle on your kale pieces
Add in your semi cooked sausage
Add spoonfuls of your Ricotta
Drizzle entire pizza with remaining oil from pan, reserve a little for after
Place into oven and bake according to dough directions
Remove and drizzle with remaining oil and sprinkle with Parmesan
Slice, Serve and Enjoy!
Tofu Ricotta
Ingredients:
16oz of Extra Firm Tofu
Juice from 1 lemon
1 tbl of garlic powder
1/2 tbl of nutritonal yeast
pinch of garlic salt
Olive Oil
Directions:
Blend together the first 5 ingredients
Slowly add in your oil until desired consistency
Should be a REALLY thick pancake batter
