Just when you thought a Donut couldn't get any better, throw on a Fried Chick'n patty with Maple Syrup and life is complete!
Ingredients:
Glazed Donuts from Donut Friend
1-2 package of Gardein Chick'n Scallopini, thawed (depending on how big you make your patties and how many you make, 1 package can make 2-4 patties)
2 Follow Your Heart Vegan Eggs, prepared
Pinch of paprika, pepper, salt, and Jada Spices Chicken salt
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup Cornstarch
salt
pepper
Vegetable Oil for frying
Maple or Pancake Syrup
Directions:
Combine your thawed Gardein and mash together and form into desired size patties, to fit your donut
Wrap tightly in saran wrap and freeze for roughly 30 minutes
In one bowl combine your seasonings, flour and cornstarch
Mix well
In another bowl add your prepared Vegan egg
Remove patties from freezer
Dip into your egg mix to fully coat, then into your flour mix
Repeat so their double coated
Set aside
Repeat with remaining patties
Let sit for 10 minutes
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan (or if you have a deep fryer use that)
Place into fryer and fry on each side until golden brown
Remove, drain on paper towel
Slice your donut in half
Place patty down, drizzle with syrup and top with donut top
Serve and enjoy!
