When you combine two of your favorite food groups you end up with this delicious Ramen Bun Burger.
Ingredients:
3 packages of Instant Ramen Noodles, oriental flavor
2 packages of Beyond Burgers
2 prepared Follow Your Heart eggs
Teriyaki Sauce
Butter Lettuce Leaves
Green Onions
Soy Sauce
Directions:
Cook you noodles according to directions, reserve seasoning
Drain noodles and cool slightly
Add in a little soy sauce and your Vegan Eggs
Mix well
Line a Ramekin, using the size you want your bun to be, with Saran Wrap
Take a large spoonful or handful of the noddle mix
Press firmly into ramekin to form bun
Wrap really tightly with Saran Wrap and remove from ramekin
Repeat with remaining noodles
Place saran wrapped noddle patties in refrigerator for at least 1 hour until firm
If short on time place in freezer for 5-10 minutes
Remove your noodle buns from fridge when firm
Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil. over medium high heat
Place you noodle buns in and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side
Continue until all buns are done, adding more oil as necessary
Remove your beyond burgers from package and place into a bowl
Add your ramen seasoning and a tiny drizzle of your teriyaki sauce
Mix well
Form into patties the size of your noodle buns
Cook patties sin a non-stick skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned
During last minute of cooking add in a few spoonful’s of your teriyaki sauce, making sure each side of your patties get covered
Cook for an additional 2 minutes to caramelize the sauce a little, make sure the burger is fully coated in sauce
Plate your burgers, noodle bun, lettuce, burger, green onions, top bun
Serve and enjoy!
