Jalapeno Popper


What does a nosy pepper do? Gets Jalapeno business!!

Let these jalapeno poppers get all up in your grill and you will be one happy camper! Try not to eat the filling before you stuff your peppers. (I know I almost did)

ATTENTION: Wear gloves when cutting Jalapenos!!

Ingredients:

8oz vegan Daiya cream cheese

2 tablespoons of FHY Vegenaise

1-2 tablespoons of Vegan bacon bits

1/3 cup of Follow Your Heart Cheddar Shreds

1 cup or less of Panko bread crumbs

10-12 Fresh Jalapeño sliced and seeded (WEAR GLOVES)

1/4 cup of earth balance melted

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350

Slice you jalapenos lengthwise and remove seeds

(please wear gloves)

In a small/medium bowl mix together the first 4 ingredients

Stuff each pepper generously with stuffing

In a shallow bowl add your breadcrumbs

Dip each stuffed pepper into the breadcrumbs

Press down to fully coat

Place into a greased baking dish or sheet

Drizzle each with melted butter

Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes

Place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to brown

Remove and let sit 5 minutes before serving
